Kennels - Dog Accommodation

Pettina Park Pet Care Centre’s kennels are world class and we are proud of the fact that we are the only fully accredited boarding establishment between Sydney and Brisbane. 
 
All our staff are trained in all aspects of canine care and are caring, loving people who have a genuine love of animals, especially the little cuties.
 
At Pettina Park Pet Care Centre we cater for all dogs from the smallest Chihuahua to the biggest St Bernard.
 
Dogs at Pettina Park Pet Care Centre are accommodated in large runs, not small cages. Dogs are housed in kennel wings according to their size, small dogs with small dogs, medium dogs with medium dogs and large dogs with large dogs. 
 
We pride ourselves on providing a bright and cheery environment with impeccable cleanliness.
All accommodation is secure and fully enclosed for added security.
 
When leaving your dog at Pettina Park Pet Care Centre you can rest assured that your dog is safely secure and not annoying your neighbours barking all alone at home.
 
Your pet will not be bored at home alone by itself and will be spoilt with heaps of love and attention during the day by our caring staff.

Dog Runs
Dog runs range in size up to 7.5sqm and open directly to the secure exercise yards with 200sqm of soft grass. The runs are all well lit with natural light and there is plenty of fresh air at all times. 
Soothing music is played throughout the kennels. All runs are undercover to provide shelter during inclement weather.
All runs have rear sleeping quarters and dogs are located inside sleeping quarters for sleep time.

Food & Feeding
Dogs are fed daily on quality food such as chicken and rice ,with premium dry food. Puppies are fed twice daily as required.Should your pet be on special food please bring it in and it will be given. If in the event that we find your dog to be super fussy we will buy and handfeed it a BBQ chook. You can rest assured whist your away that your pet is eating as good as at home. There is always plenty of fresh water provided.

Exercise
Dogs are exercised a minimum of three times per day in our large exercise yards. We do not charge for exercising your pet (unlike other boarding establishments) whilst boarding at Pettina Park Pet Care Centre as this is an essential daily requirement for your dog’s health and wellbeing. 
Dogs are exercised in small groups under the supervision of our experienced staff. Only dogs of the same temperament and size are exercised together. Should you wish for your dog to be exercised alone please advise staff upon entry. Aggressive dogs or dogs from specific breeds known to be unsocial are exercised alone. 

Bitches on Heat
Bitches on heat are not a problem at Pettina Park Pet Care Centre. Your female friend will not have any contact with any males during their stay and will be secure away from your neighbour’s dogs.

Special Needs Dogs
Dogs requiring special attention for any reason, old age, blind, deaf, arthritis etc are welcome. Procedures are in place to cater for such animals so their stay is as enjoyable as their fellow canine friends. 

Medication
Dogs requiring medication are more than welcome. Medication will be provided as instructed at no additional cost. 

Hydrobath
Full hydrobath facilities are available for all dogs whilst boarding for a small fee. Dogs boarding for long term (4 weeks or more) receive complementary hydrobaths every 2 weeks or as required. 

Requirements
All dogs boarding at Pettina Park Pet Care Centre must be fully vaccinated with a current C5 vaccination. The preferred vaccination of Pettina Park Pet Care Centre is a Protech® Bronchi-Shield III. If in doubt with your vaccinations please consult with your veterinarian. Current vaccination certificates must be sighted upon entry and annually as updated. Should your dog require a vaccination or booster please call Pettina Park Pet Care Centre and we will happily direct you to a vet in your area. All dogs entering Pettina Park Pet Care Centre will be given a compulsory hydrobath for fleas and ticks on arrival ensuring all dogs in our care remain pest free.

Health Checks
All dogs are checked daily to ensure they are in good health. 

Veterinary Care
Should the need arise, we have access to several veterinarians in the area who offer prompt service in the case of an emergency. In any instance you will be contacted immediately and your preferred veterinarian would be consulted first.
